Hey everyone. Since we launched the new site & software, we have been able to fulfill many of your feature requests.

    - We are still without user location maps (this will come later externally).

What else can you guys think of?

Making your profile picture SFW. lol.
Other than that, maybe you could change the speech bubble icons on the home page to something more weather related, or a generic shape. Something is also screwed up with the post time. I am seeing one post that says it was posted 30 minutes ahead of the current time.

Done and your time-zone settings were in England. I set you to Eastern time to hopefully get rid of that issue.

If I can help - please let me know. At the very least, I'll send you some links broken down by category, just to get started. Got a lot of court this week, but it shouldn't take me too much time - if it'll help - Best - Phil

Maybe move the global warming thread to political. Things could and have been more political in there than weather at times, and I believe it would fit better in there.

About that global warming political idea. I get what you mean, but I think it could actually cause people to subliminally think of a political war when they go in there. If that makes sense. It seems to be doing fine where it is now, but we will move it in the future if people start getting crazy with it.

Here is a thought... For "Extreme" weather events (widespread severe, or winter) any way to get a "chat room" up and running... Something that would be faster for reports, comments, etc that would be short in nature. Hopefully something we could run in seperate window...

Maybe in the future we can launch an IRC channel or something that can be accessed via an IRC client or web browser/mobile. Right now, it is better to have things in threads so it's archived and can be read easily later by anyone doing research.

We do have a live thread function that we enable during major events on certain threads for our readers who are logged in.

Is there any way to overlay our Member Map onto a Doppler radar map? Would be cool at times to see the 'haves' and 'have nots'.
