Burt Reynolds, one of the most popular movie actors of the 1970s/80s as well a s a TV actor before that passed away today at 82. A lot of young folks probably don’t realize just how big a star he was. He was YUUGE!!
Side notes: He made parts of 2 movies here in the 70s. He lived in Florida. May Burt Rest In Peace.

Gator, Smokey and the Bandit, Deliverance, The Longest Yard, Boogie Nights... he was an Everyman's actor. Always cool as a cucumber in front of the screen.. Too bad he didn't live long enough to be in Tarantino's latest film... was looking forward to that.
