Misc Jukin June

Talking about being right on the line. Of course, since there is more talk of severe storms here and a possible watch it pretty much guarantees I won't see any storms at all. Friday night I had the biggest storms all year and the risk was lower, no watch, and there wasn't as much talk about severe storms beforehand.

Might have spoke too soon. Sounds like we're about to get a good storm at work in north Raleigh.

And now the sun is out. Had two big claps of thunder, one minute of rain, and that's it.

This is getting stupid now! Look at the radar and look at GSP! :(
8 days and .13 total! Awesome!

Gainesville, FL, and ATL now have a very good chance to finally get a cooler than normal month this month (by ~0.5-1 degrees)! SAV is a closer call but they're aiming for ~0.25 degrees cooler than normal. SAV and ATL have had an incredible 16 months in a row of warmer than normal! Gainesville is at 12.

Got a storm about to come in here it looks like.

Edit : Back to the usual summer pattern. The storm missed.

Had a good storm around 2:30 in the morning. This is how I remember summers in NC being, with a chance of storms every afternoon and night. Hasn't been that way for years.

Not as bad as some of us would think is it. I'd hate being in southern Pickens or in eastern Laurens counties though. It has been fairly dry there for sure. Outside of the mountains I'm actually in one of the wettest parts of the upstate on that map.

June looks to finish below normal temp wise for a large part of the southeast

CMC cannot be trusted with temps LOL, or can tropical systems really pull down cooler air that well?

But the Euro cools the 850s more than the CMC. Anyone have surface temps for the Euro?
